Responsibilities of Department :

  • Planning Regarding Finances
  • Regular review of accrued expenses
  • To invest the balance in various accounts as per section 92 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act
  • To prepare loan proposals from financial institutions for various projects as per Section 109 of Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act and to repay the loans taken.
  • Preparation of administrative report as per section 94 and subsidy report as per section 95(a) of Maharashtra municipal corporation
  • Preparation of balance sheet and deposit / debit statement of the corporation as per section 94 of the Municipal Corporation Act
